American Resources Corp., Fishers, Indiana, says its wholly owned subsidiary Electrified Materials Corp. (EMCO), has expanded its preprocessing capabilities by procuring additional equipment and processing capacity at its Indiana facility.The new processing line expands metals and minerals recycler EMCO's ability to aggregate, process and condition magnet materials, copper, aluminum and ferrous metals recovered from end-of-life products and manufacturing scrap. These materials include rare earth elements (REE) and critical mineral feedstocks that will be conditioned into optimal forms for refining, American Resources Corp. says. Read More

American Resources Corporation (AMC) has expanded the pre-processing capabilities at its Indiana facility, saying it is a major step in building a fully domestic circular life-cycle solution in the US for rare earth elements and critical minerals.The new line at Fishers, operated by subsidiary Electrified Materials Corporation (EMC), expands the group’s ability to aggregate, process and condition magnet materials, copper, aluminium and ferrous metals recovered from end-of-life products and manufacturing scrap. American Resources Corp (NASDAQ:AREC) announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Electrified Materials Corporation (EMCO), has begun receiving initial shipments of end-of-life lithium-ion batteries for 2026 at its Noblesville, Indiana, disposition site.The company said the batteries are sourced from both domestic and international partners, and include a range of chemistries such as lithium iron phosphate (LFP) as well as nickel- and cobalt-bearing systems. Charged Electric Vehicle magazine reported on a development that will help EV battery recycling.The recycling advancement "marks a key milestone in scaling our recycling and refining partnership with ReElement Technologies," Mark Jensen, chairman and CEO of American Resources, said.Indiana-based Electrified Materials, a subsidiary of American Resources, was granted a Resource Conservation and Recovery Act permit that allows the company to preprocess and recycle products that contain copper, aluminum, and primarily iron metals as well as minerals and rare earth elements.
